I have always loved the whole process of Wedding Photography. The preparation, composition, lighting, posing of the Happy Couple and guests, intimate moments, capturing them with my eye and camera. Then post production and finally presenting my work, and the joy I see with the memory of the day flooding back.

Choosing the right Photographer to capture the essence of your Wedding Day is one of the most important decisions you will make after “I Do”, because the images taken on the day will be your Memories to keep and cherish for always.

Meeting with you to establish empathy is vital, seeing examples of my work, discussing styles of photography and how you want your Wedding Images taken. I will bring with me examples of my work (please also review the Gallery). Take time to discuss the method of Photography you wish :

Traditional : is a more stage managed option where all the images are stage managed making sure all guests are included, ideal for big family Weddings.
Reportage : is a fly on the wall style where all the images are taken without guidance ideal for free flowing Weddings.
Contemporary : is the most popular format as it blends both of the above styles allowing the best of both, this is my normal approach.

Establishing a clear understanding of the costs of your Wedding Photography Package, what is included in the price, what optional extras are available and the payment structure. This information will be confirmed at the meeting and a printed copy sent to you.

My packages are personalised to your specific requirements, all include an informal meeting 8 weeks prior to your Wedding Day where I will spend 20/30 minutes taking some informal photographs of you (one image will be selected, printed, framed and presented to you), we will then discuss the timetable for your day, itemising the images you require, special items and people, any specific requests and any surprises.

If I haven't worked at a Venue before I will visit it prior to your Wedding, to ascertain the best places for your pictures to be taken, contingencies, and check for any restrictions.

I will be with you on the Day photographing and ensuring that your requested images are taken.

I will process the images taken, displaying them to your via a password protected page on my site for you to peruse and select your pictures. Each package includes a hardback Story book.

If you wish to upgrade to a Wedding Album, then these options are discussed at your consultation with no obligation to purchase. Extra Images, Disk or Albums can be requested after your Wedding Day allowing you to spread the costs.

About Me
My keen eye for composition and the time I spend making sure the process of taking pictures, before, during and after, had resulted in me on many occasions being asked to record friend’s Weddings, Special Events and Portraits. Then being made redundant early in 2008 enabled me to change my hobby into a second career. I still have a 9-5 job but am now in a position with Pro Camera, Studio equipment, Web site etc. to offer to Professional Service. It is a career I wish to move into Full time however, recession has forced me to maintain the 'day job' for a while longer ! (I will gladly take days off to Photograph your Event). I am married to Diane, and have 2 grown children.
